On Friday, December 10, Wilmington Yearly Meeting announced the hiring of a new Yearly Meeting Office Coordinator. Hannah Lutz will take office on January 4. Meet Hannah:
Hannah Lutz is a life-long member of Wilmington Yearly Meeting. She grew up attending Jamestown Friends Meeting, and is now a member of both Xenia Friends Meeting and Ada Chapel Friends Meeting. Hannah has been serving Ada Chapel as a pastor since 2017, and was recorded as a minister in 2020. She is also the clerk of the Youth and Young Adults Committee, serves on the Quaker Knoll Camp Board, and has been a Quaker Knoll camp counselor almost every year since she was 13 years old. Hannah is a graduate of Wright State University, and has a degree in marketing. She comes to the office with a background in banking. Hannah is excited to do something new in her career, and to serve Wilmington Yearly Meeting in this way. Hannah loves the yearly meeting, and wants to see it flourish, and continue to serve God, as well as our neighbors. Hannah currently lives in Xenia with her husband, Dustin, and their many dogs and cats. Hannah enjoys reading, writing, hiking, running, kayaking, and riding her bike. Hannah also enjoys serving as a volunteer at Hope House in Wilmington.
I know Hannah will do a great job. I got to know her during Ada Chapel’s “Another Kind of Bible Study” two Wednesdays a month prior to the pandemic. She is considerate and smart, and has a wonderful heart.
