2026 Yearly Meeting Recap

As we concluded the 2025-2026 Year with our annual Meeting, held in Wilmington, Ohio, Friends experienced a joyful time! What a great way to wrap up our “Called in Joy for These Times” theme, and to introduce our new theme for 2026-2027:

A Fresh Wind! The scripture references are: “Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Let your good spirit lead me on a level path.” Psalm 143:10 NRSVUE;
“And suddenly a sound came from heaven like the rush of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.” Acts 2:2 RSV

Hymn is “Every Time I Feel the Spirit”

Yearly Meeting sessions included many reports from Friendly organizations near and far, and from Friends well-known and new(er) to Wilmington Yearly Meeting!

A special thanks to Penny Kincaid for providing hospitality to Friends traveling some distance and needing Friendly accommodation!
