March Gathering of Wilmington Yearly Meeting

Called in Joy For These Times: 2026 March Gathering We will meet in-person at Cincinnati Friends Meetinghouse, 8075 Keller Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45177 and via Zoom (link will be sent closer to the time of the Gathering).

9 am: Ministry & Counsel

10 am: Meeting for Worship

10-10:20: Youth Sharing about trip to Chicago

10:20-10:35: Worship in song, led by JP Lund

10:35 – 11:00: Open Worship (query, “How do you create and experience joy in these times?”)

11 am: Presentation & Discussion of The Book of Joy, by Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu.

Book discussion led by Program Planning Committee members Marla Stewart, Mary Ann Raizk,  and Dave Goff. Attendees are encouraged to read the book or watch the movie prior to the Gathering. Consideration had been given to showing the movie, but technical and copyright issues led the Committee to choose this format for Friends to consider the material. Please note the video is available for purchase, but committee members could locate it only in blu-ray format.

11:50 am: Close Opening Session with Worship in song, led by JP Lund

12 noon: Lunch (fundraiser event for Youth & Young Adult Committee)

1:15 pm: Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business
