Encourage One Another in Love: FUM update!
Friends United Meeting wants to know what is going on with you [& us]! And, they want to share with us some encouraging news about the Ministry Support Fund.
In this week’s FUM newsletter, Kelly Kellum states, “we are grateful to share that, together, we have raised over $459,000, reaching just over 70% of our goal*. This is meaningful progress. It reflects both generosity and a deep commitment to the mission we share. At the same time, just under $191,000 remains to be raised” and also, “For the Spring and Summer fundraising, a $30,000 matching opportunity was offered to inspire the generosity of Friends. That match has not only been met, but surpassed, with over $125,000 raised through the current appeal.” This is indeed encouraging news! *FUM set a December 31 goal to raise $650,000 — wouldn’t it be great if that final $191,000 was raised well ahead of that target date?
Friends United Meeting’s North American Ministries would like to have a better perspective and understanding of the cares and concerns [we] all are facing. [Our] eyes and hands and feet and more importantly [our] hearts are in places the members of the NAM committee cannot be and cannot know without your help. To help FUM understand and know what is on [our] minds FUM has created two surveys. You can access them using the links below.
- One is a personal spiritual status assessment:
https://www.cognitoforms.com/FriendsUnitedMeeting/FriendsSpiritualGrowthTransformation. - The other is a Meeting spiritual status assessment:

The information gathered will be used to identify priorities for areas of need and concern which will then be used to guide North American Ministries. We want to be able to effectively walk alongside and encourage one another in love, as is written in 1Thessalonians 5:11.
