Lakeway Quaker Meeting’s “temporary digs”

Lakeway Quaker Meeting (preparatory) rapidly outgrew their first “home” in the basement of Jeff & Robin Hansel.

While they continue to look for the place they are led to call their permanent earthly residence, they have been welcomed as fellow followers of Christ  to use the fellowship hall of First Baptist Church of Jefferson City, for a very small monthly contribution. First Baptist Church in Jefferson City, TN, has experienced the hardships that often come with being faithful witnesses to Love and to welcoming ALL of God’s children, and so this mutually beneficial arrangement is a source of joyful partnership for both parties. (Not to mention, Jeff & Robin in particular no longer wonder if their basement walls will burst!)

Lakeway Quaker Meeting moved in May 3, and held their first Meeting for Worship in their new “home” on May 10. And kind-of like the famous “bunny,” these Friends just keep gRowing!
