Nominating Committee Interest Survey
Do you have an interest in the Yearly Meeting? (That’s a rhetorical question, by the way — OF COURSE you do!)
Everyone has gifts/talents/skills – and Wilmington Yearly Meeting needs every one of us to exercise those gifts for the health of the Yearly Meeting! To help the Nominating Committee identify and understand those able and willing to serve on the various committees, they have created a “Gifts & Interests” survey.
You can find the survey here. An easily shareable URL to the same survey is https://forms.gle/jvPbencHJQUZwbkZ7. And for those more inclined to scan a qr code:
The Nominating Committee is asking that these interest surveys be completed by Spring Gathering, March 14.
Note: the nominating committee really wants volunteers! However, various versions “Volun-tolding” have been known to occur, not only in the Volunteer State (TN)! Please help them ensure our committees, and thus the Yearly Meeting as a whole, can function at its best.
In these times, we need to joyfully exercise the talents, knowledge, and gifts we have, heeding the leading of the Spirit even if it seems “inconvenient.” Many of our members have been doing that for years & years (if not decades), so please consider how you might lend a hand and give some “well seasoned Friends” an opportunity to relax and refresh (so they can jump right back in after a season of rest!).
