YAYA Needs Friends!

Friend, can you lend a hand?
Each Camping season brings a lot of joy, but also an enormous amount of work. Over the years, the number of adults pitching-in has decreased, creating a real challenge in staffing cabins and taking care of other needs. And camp isn’t the only time additional assistance is needed! To help address this, the Youth & Young Adult committee has asking Friends to let them know if you would be able to lend your time and skill in any of the following ways:
- Stay overnight & provide supervision at Quaker Knoll in a cabin during Summer Camps
- Stay overnight & provide supervision at Quaker Knoll in the House
- Stay overnight & provide supervision for Retreats to other places
- Work in the kitchen (Lodge) at Quaker Knoll during Summer Camps
- Summer Camps:
- Lifeguard
- Nurse
- Driver to off-site excursions
- Provide vehicle for off-site excursions
- Drive and/or provide a vehicle for non-Camp
- youth activities
- Be a speaker or provide a workshop
- Any other gifts you’d like to share with the Youth of Wilmington Yearly Meeting!
If you’d like to help, please reach out to a member of the Youth & Young Adult Committee: James Godfrey, Becky Godfrey, Jonathan Goff, Eric Guindon, Ashlynn Stanton-Henry, Nancy McCormick, Vicky Powers, & Jordan Snarr.
